Application Process:

• Candidates need to apply for each post category separately and pay the fee for each.
• Go through the official notification : Click here
• Applications must be submitted online at the official SSC website (https://ssc.gov.in).

• Open the official site by given link and Click on Apply Button or (Click here)
• Create account or Login and Follow the instruction by notification
• The last date for submission is 18.03.2024 (2300 Hrs.).
• It is advised to submit applications well before the closing date to avoid any issues.
• The Commission will not be responsible for any submission issues due to heavy website traffic.
• Candidates should apply only once for one post category.

After Application Submission:

• After successful submission, candidates must print the application form.
• The printed form, along with self-attested documents, will be needed during Document Verification.
• Any incorrect information may lead to the rejection of the candidate’s candidature.

Application Fee:

• Fee payable: Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only).
• Fee can be paid online using BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit card.
• Women candidates and candidates belonging to certain categories are exempted from the fee.
• Online fee payment can be made up to 19.03.2024 (2300 Hrs.).
• Applications without the prescribed fee will be summarily rejected.
• Note: Fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted under any circumstances. Fee should be paid separately for each post category applied.

SCHEME OF EXAMINATION:

1Overview:

• Three separate Computer Based Examinations for posts with different educational qualifications.
• Objective Type Multiple Choice questions.

Details of Examinations:

Negative Marking:

• 0.50 marks deduction for each wrong answer.

Normalization of Scores:

• Marks scored will be normalized using the Commission’s published formula.
• Normalized scores used for final merit and cut-off marks determination.

Skill Tests:

• Typing/ Data Entry/ Computer Proficiency Test, etc., conducted for Essential Qualifications.
• Qualifying in nature.

Minimum Qualifying Standards:

• Commission discretion to set different minimum qualifying standards.
• Consideration of category-wise vacancies and candidates.

Answer Keys and Representations:

• Tentative Answer Keys posted on the Commission’s website after the Examination.
• Candidates can submit representations online within the specified time, paying Rs 100/- per question.
• Commission scrutinizes representations before finalizing Answer Keys.
• No late representations regarding Answer Keys entertained.
