π Role 2: Technician – GBS Engineering – Building the Future!π
Job Summary: As a Technician in GBS Engineering, your role is crucial in supporting teams dedicated to building innovative products. Tasks include creating part numbers for BOM in Agile & Baan, managing Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), releasing part lists to production, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for efficient manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create part numbers for BOM in Agile & Baan systems.
- Download customer documents and release them in the CDC.
- Work as a Change Analyst during NPI for new changes.
- Release part lists to production for new models and after ECO implementation.
- Efficiently manage ECOs for manufacturing sites globally using Agile (PLM) system.
- Study ECOs and drawings closely, coordinating with the site Process/Product Engineering team.
- Collaborate with Engineering and materials teams to review product updates/modifications.
- Respond to Business Partner and customer queries related to Engineering Change Orders.
- Ensure adherence to targets set for all Process Metrics.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma or B.SC (EEE/ECE) graduate with 0-2 years of experience in NPI/ECO Engineering, preferably in the EMS Industry.
- Knowledge of NPI, ECO management, and BOM management.
- Hands-on experience in any PLM software linked to the ECO process.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (MANDATORY).
- Proficiency in MS Office and MS Outlook.
- Strong analytical, coaching, mentoring, and conflict resolution skills.
