Responsibilities of UI Designer:
As a UI Designer, you will play a pivotal role in defining the visual identity and user experience of various digital products. Your primary responsibilities include:
- Visual Design Leadership: Taking ownership of the look and feel of the Jio Cloud suite of products, ensuring they resonate with users and align with business goals.
- User Interface Development: Managing the day-to-day process of translating design requirements into engaging and intuitive user interfaces.
- Creative Design: Generating original design ideas, crafting logos, sample layouts, web templates, and marketing materials using industry-standard design tools like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Design Process Leadership: Leading the design process by creating sketches, wireframes, navigation flow charts, and interactive prototypes to visualize concepts and iterate designs effectively.
- UI Best Practices: Evangelizing best user-interface design practices to ensure exceptional user experiences across all products.
- Creativity and Independence: Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts, and demonstrating the ability to work independently with limited instructions.
- Experience and Proficiency: Demonstrating solid experience in user flows, process flows, and site maps, along with proficiency in visual design and wireframing tools.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping, ensuring designs are not only visually appealing but also functional and accessible.
- Visual Design Sensitivity: Exhibiting excellent visual design skills with a keen sensitivity to user-system interaction, ensuring designs are intuitive and user-friendly.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to creatively and effectively solve complex design problems, finding innovative solutions to challenges encountered during the design process.
- Stay Updated: Keeping abreast of the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies, ensuring designs remain current and competitive in the market.
Requirements for UI Designer:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in B Tech / BE / M Tech / ME / MBA.
- 0 to 3 years of experience in UI design or a related field.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for prototyping.
