What You Will Do as Vehicle Systems Integration Specialist
- 3D Modeling & CAD: Design 3D models and assemblies using CAD platforms and generate production-ready 2D drawings with proper tolerances.
- Component Design & DFMA: Design brackets and mounting solutions for harsh environments while applying DFMA principles and manufacturing capabilities.
- Sensor Integration: Translate physical and technical integration needs for automotive sensors and data acquisition hardware into mechanical mounting requirements.
- Harness Routing: Understand electrical schematics, prepare harness instructions, and apply standard wire routing concepts for safety.
- Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with local vendors for rapid prototyping and guide technicians during vehicle component integration.
Skills Required:
CAD Tools. Proficiency in industry standard design software such as NX, Creo/ProE, CATIA, or SolidWorks.
Mechanical Design. Ability to design sheet metal parts, machined components, and custom mounting brackets for harsh environments.
