What You Will Do as Processing Cost Analyst

• Scalable Accounting Processes: Build scalable accounting processes to support global growth in payment processing cost accounting.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, go-to-market, and Finance teams to understand new products, features, and contracts.
• Financial Systems Improvement: Partner with systems and engineering teams to improve financial systems and automate accounting processes.
• Internal Controls: Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and design processes and controls for emerging business activities.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain current accounting procedure documentation.
• Close Activities: Plan and perform monthly and quarterly close activities, including journal entries, balance-sheet reconciliations, variance analyses, financial reporting deliverables, and reviews.
• Reporting and Audits: Produce management analyses and reporting, and support external audit processes.

Skills Required:

Accounting Standards & Frameworks. Working knowledge of US GAAP including ASC 606 and internal controls.

Tools & Software. Ability to solve problems using Excel, with preferred experience in Oracle Suite, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, KNIME, Python, or Alteryx.

Core Accounting. Experience handling monthly or quarterly close processes, journal entries, balance-sheet reconciliations, and audits.

Basic Qualifications:

• Professional accountancy qualification (CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) and 2–3 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience with month-end/quarter-end close, journal entries, audits, and financial statements
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls
