Backend Developer Responsibilities:
IBM is seeking a competent and motivated developer to become part of its experienced team supporting Db2 for z/OS, wherein one will develop, enhance, and maintain necessary software tools around automation testing using current databases like Db2 and MongoDB, plus React, Node, VUE, and testing automation frameworks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Software Development: Writing high-quality code in Java, JavaScript, and Python.
- Testing: Executing test cases to ensure software quality.
- Client Collaboration: Working closely with clients and the client success team to resolve issues and deliver enhancements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn new technologies and be passionate about product quality. Proficiency in programming, debugging, and problem-solving is essential. Flexibility to work in different time zones is required.
