What You Will Do as Design Engineer Mechanical
- Component Design: Design assemblies and components for new braking system products including reservoirs and pedal interface parts.
- Finite Element Analysis: Understand customer requirements, prepare FEA approaches, check analysis quality, solve errors, and interpret results.
- Documentation and BOM: Prepare and release 3D-CAD data, drawings, and Bills of Materials through SAP activities.
- Supplier Collaboration: Conduct SE reviews with suppliers and plants, incorporate design requirements, and apply GD&T standards.
Skills Required:
Design Tools. Proficiency in UG NX and Teamcenter software for 3D modelling and component design.
Engineering Analysis. Ability to perform Finite Element Analysis, design calculations, and tolerance stack up analysis.
Standards and Quality. Knowledge of Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and DFMEA.
