Roles and Responsibilities:
- Pre-Audit of Vouchers: Pre-audit of payment vouchers and other F&A related vouchers pertaining to the Institute, including the scrutiny of statutory remittances by contractors.
- Establishment Audit: Pre-audit of establishment-related financial matters, including scrutiny of pay fixations and retirement benefits.
- Departmental Accounts Audit: Audit of accounts of departments, pre-check/vetting of purchase proposals, and scrutiny of works, estimates, agreements, MoUs, and reports.
- Annual Internal Audit: Conducting annual internal audit of departments to ensure compliance with all government rules.
- CAG Coordination: Coordinate with C&AG on certificate audit, transaction audit, and other CAG audits, and assist in replies to CAG paras and audit observation settlements.
