Roles and Responsibilities:
- Policy & Regulatory Research: Conduct research on key power sector policy and regulatory issues including power markets and retail competition.
- Report Preparation: Prepare policy notes, research papers, analytical reports, briefing notes and presentations based on detailed research.
- Policy Monitoring: Monitor and analyse policies, regulations, guidelines and orders issued by MoP, CERC, CEA, SERCs and other authorities.
- Tariff Analysis: Examine tariff petitions and regulatory filings of GENCOs, TRANSCOs and DISCOMS including tariff structures and financial implications.
- Legal Tracking: Track and analyse judgments and orders of the Supreme Court, High Courts and APTEL and assess their implications.
