What You Will Do as AI Software Solutions Engineer

• Software Optimization: Propose optimizations in software and kernel implementation to improve overall workload performance.
• Performance Modeling: Model AI hardware and software for performance analysis, analyze AI workloads, and estimate ideal kernel performance.
• Toolkit Maintenance: Enhance and maintain the performance modeling toolkit for projections and correlate projected performance with devices or simulators.
• Network Study: Study new and different deep learning networks to understand future optimization requirements.
• Feature Design: Design and develop hardware-agnostic and hardware-aware software features for AI frameworks with a focus on machine learning kernel development.
• Stack Enhancement: Enhance and extend deep learning training and inference capabilities within Intel's AI software stack.
• Debugging: Debug and resolve functional and convergence issues across multi-layered software systems.

Skills Required:

Programming & Core. Strong proficiency in Python and C++ with a solid foundation in data structures and algorithms.

AI & Deep Learning. Experience with open-source frameworks like PyTorch, JAX, and TensorFlow for deep learning workloads.

Architecture & Optimization. Understanding of computer architecture, compiler fundamentals, and performance optimization techniques on modern hardware.
