What You Will Do as Analyst, Risk Management
- Customer Risk Scanning: Conduct daily reads of Factiva, CreditEdge customer news, and regulatory websites to scan for customer financial distress.
- Exposure Monitoring: Monitor 24/7 global customer exposures and prefunding accounts, immediately informing risk managers in case of urgencies like bankruptcies or insolvencies.
- Settlement Support: Follow up with customers and account managers regarding open settlement positions for small settlement failures to check for genuine issues or reconciliations.
- Commercial Underwriting: Assemble the first stage of commercial underwriting for senior analysts including volume trends, recommended CEM thresholds limits, and settlement analysis.
- System Testing and Reporting: Participate in Customer Exposure Monitoring system testing, ad hoc reporting on volume and exposure trends, and coordinate to fix process inaccuracies.
Skills Required:
Office Tools. Advanced usage of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for daily tasks and reporting.
Analytical Skills. Ability to read financial data, assess credit risk, and validate customer exposure numbers.
Communication. Outstanding written and verbal English communication to collaborate with internal teams and external customers.
