What You Will Do as BMS Hardware Engineer (Analog)
- Circuit Design and Development: Design and develop hardware circuits for Battery Management Systems across low voltage and high voltage applications.
- Failure Analysis and Testing: Conduct board-level and product testing, perform hardware failure analysis, and execute hardware verification and validation.
- Component and Layout Review: Select components using DAR, create creepage distance matrices, and review PCB layouts while handling requirements in DOORS.
- Simulation and Documentation: Perform simulations, calculations, and FMEA/FMEDA analyses while properly documenting development processes and test results.
Skills Required:
Circuit Design & Simulation. Knowledge in analog, digital, and power electronics design along with simulation tools like LTSpice, SIMPLIS, and MATLAB.
Testing & Debugging. Expertise in hardware failure analysis, debugging, high voltage testing, and handling lab equipment like oscilloscopes.
