What You Will Do as Hardware Technical Specialist
- Architecture and Design: Define schematics, circuit topologies, component selection, and SPICE simulations for high-voltage and low-voltage systems.
- Reliability and Safety: Lead Worst-Case Analysis, DFMEA, thermal design, and ISO 26262 compliance including ASIL-D FMEDA.
- EMC and DfX: Ensure robust EMC and ESD compliance such as CISPR 25 and drive Design for Manufacturing and Testing.
- Verification and Problem-Solving: Define V&V test plans and lead root-cause analysis using 8D methods for critical technical issues.
- Mentorship: Author design guidelines and mentor engineering teams.
Skills Required:
Hardware Design. Expertise in defining schematics, circuit topologies, and component selection for high and low voltage systems.
Safety and Standards. Knowledge of ISO 26262 compliance, Worst-Case Analysis, and EMC/ESD standards.
