What You Will Do as Researcher

• Vibration & Thermal Modeling: Develop advanced simulation models for vibrations in automotive and industrial components considering material behaviour under thermal loads.
• Simulation & Multi-Physics: Apply deep domain knowledge in vibration mechanics and material science to build simulation setups and execute multi-physics evaluations.
• Scripting & Code Quality: Write, lint, and maintain clean Python scripts to support complex 3D multi-physics engineering workflows.
• Hybrid AI/ML Modeling: Integrate classical physics-based simulation models with AI/ML techniques such as PINNs and operator learning to optimize simulation speed and accuracy.
• Global Collaboration: Collaborate closely within cross-border international research teams to deliver project outcomes and technical innovations.

Skills Required:

Domain Mechanics. Solid and structural mechanics, vibration modeling, and material fatigue under thermal stress.

Simulation Tools & Methods. Proficiency in Abaqus, finite element analysis (FEM), and numerical differential equation solvers.

Software & Machine Learning. Strong Python programming along with AI/ML methods like neural networks, XGBoost, GPR, and PINNs.

Basic Qualifications:

• M.Tech or PhD in Material Science, Civil, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering from top-tier institutions.
• At least 3 years of practical experience in structural and vibration simulation.
• Mandatory expertise in Python coding and Abaqus.
• Strong grasp of differential equations, numerical algorithms, and finite element methods.
