What You Will Do as Mechanical Design (CAD NX)
- Wiring Harness Routing: Create and develop wiring harness 3D routing using the Siemens NX Electrical Routing module based on packaging and design requirements.
- 2D Drawings and BOM: Prepare 2D flattening drawings of wiring harnesses including wire lengths, bundle diameters, branch details, and maintain bills of materials.
- Feasibility and Compliance: Perform routing feasibility, bend radius checks, clearance analysis, and ensure compliance with design standards.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate end-to-end with tooling suppliers and assess electrical characteristics influencing electromagnetic compatibility.
Skills Required:
Design Tools. Proficiency in UG-NX, Teamcenter, and AutoCAD for creating drawings and managing components.
Engineering Knowledge. Understanding of GD&T, electrical components, and wiring harness routing principles.
Soft Skills. Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal skills, and collaborative team player abilities.
