What You Will Do as Accountant – Fixed Asset
- Monthly Close Activities: Execute monthly accounting close activities and deliverables including journal entries, account reconciliations, analytics, and reporting.
- Financial Entries: Understand and prepare accounting entries for financial activities such as GL accounting, fixed assets accounting, and purchase order accrual accounting.
- Variance Analysis: Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statement flux variance analysis for management reporting.
- Reporting Support: Provide support to the 10-Q and 10-K reporting process by preparing supporting schedules.
- SOX Compliance: Prepare SOX documentation including EAE documentation and assist in coordinating reviews and audits with internal and external auditors.
Skills Required:
Accounting & Finance. Strong expertise in general ledger accounting, fixed assets, US GAAP application, and period-end accrual entries.
Compliance & Audit. Experience in SOX control execution, documentation, and coordinating with internal and external auditors.
Tools & Systems. Familiarity with ERP systems, Workday Financials, Blackline, eGRC360, Tableau, Hyperion, and Microsoft Excel.
