What You Will Do as ASIC Verification Engineer
- Build Test Frameworks: Develop tools, infrastructure, and test frameworks used in RTL-simulations, C-simulations, Emulation, FPGA, and on Silicon.
- Understand System Architecture: Comprehend Tegra system architecture with a focus on all IPs in the SOC involved in boot and security features.
- Enable Design Access: Build tools that give Design and Verification teams access to registers, memory, DMA engines, and enable test re-use across multiple platforms.
- Pre-Silicon Simulation: Assess and build C-model or RTL-simulation capability to simulate features before silicon arrival in a pre-silicon environment.
Skills Required:
Programming Languages. Strong proficiency in C, C++, and Python for writing software and test frameworks.
Hardware & SOC Concepts. Understanding of SOC devices, CPU, GPU, DMA, MMU/IOMMU, and system architecture.
Development & Testing. Experience with operating systems, device-driver concepts, and bare-metal test frameworks.
Basic Qualifications:
- BS or MS in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience
- 0-2 years of experience
- Strong programmer proficient with C, C++, Python
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience handling Silicon Bringup and Emulation/FPGA related test frameworks
