What You Will Do as Automotive Diagnostic and troubleshooting Engineer for EV & HEV Systems
- Vehicle Diagnosis: Diagnose vehicle systems independently using various testers and diagnostic tools.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems in vehicles.
- Documentation & Content Creation: Create content for guided troubleshooting procedures and high-quality informative automotive documentation.
- Error Code Analysis: Identify and understand Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) and specific error codes generated by vehicle systems.
- Component Testing: Conduct vehicle testing and individual component testing using diagnostic equipment like OBD-II scanners and multimeters.
Skills Required:
Diagnostic Tools. Hands-on experience with equipment such as OBD-II scanners, multimeters, and oscilloscopes for testing.
Technical Knowledge. Strong understanding of automotive electrical wiring diagrams, component workflows, and Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
