What You Will Do as Conversation AI Engineer
- Agentic Conversation Design: Architect and build the conversational layer of the prompt-based agentic platform, including intent detection and multi-step reasoning flows.
- LLM Integration & Prompt Engineering: Design and maintain prompt architectures that drive advisor-assist features, incorporating context injection, tool-calling, and guardrails.
- Advisor Assist Systems: Build real-time AI tools that surface relevant knowledge, suggest responses, and guide advisors through commerce and support interactions.
- Process Mapping: Collaborate with operations and product teams to translate advisor business workflows into effective conversation system designs.
- Evaluation & Quality: Define conversation quality metrics, build evaluation datasets from interaction logs, and operate a continuous improvement loop.
- Probabilistic Fallback Design: Design graceful degradation patterns to handle low-confidence states, ambiguous intents, and out-of-scope inputs smoothly.
- Cross-platform Delivery: Integrate conversational AI features across chat, phone, and ecommerce surfaces to maintain coherent behavior.
Skills Required:
Programming & Tools. Proficiency in Python and various NLP tooling frameworks for building conversational applications.
