What You Will Do as PCIe IP Verification Engineer
- ASIC Design Verification: Be responsible for verification of the ASIC design, architecture, golden models and micro-architecture of PCIE controllers at IP/sub-system levels using UVM.
- Infrastructure Development: Build reusable bus functional models, monitors, checkers and scoreboards following coverage driven verification methodology.
- Test Planning: Understand design specifications, define verification scope, develop test plans, tests, and verification infrastructure to ensure design correctness.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with architects, designers, and pre/post silicon verification teams to accomplish tasks.
Skills Required:
Verification Methodologies & Languages. Strong command over Verilog, SystemVerilog, and DV methodologies like UVM/VMM for simulation and debug.
Protocols & Architecture. Understanding of IP or interconnect protocols such as PCI Express, USB, or SATA.
Scripting & Programming. Experience in scripting and software programming languages like Python and Perl.
