What You Will Do as Systems Engineer – Workday Platform
- Requirement Breakdown: Independently decompose Product Manager-authored use cases into detailed technical requirements, user stories, and validation rules.
- Platform Configuration: Perform hands-on configuration across assigned platforms, evaluate design tradeoffs, and document rationale behind decisions.
- UAT and Testing: Lead UAT execution, guide business SMEs, triage and resolve defects, and execute end-to-end regression testing.
- Security Model Design: Design and implement Workday security models, perform impact analyses, and recommend best practices.
- Compliance Management: Own SOX IT Application Control mechanics, complete quarterly control certifications, and support audit walkthroughs.
Skills Required:
Platform Expertise. Hands-on configuration and management of Workday HCM and Workday Financials modules.
Security & Compliance. Design of Workday security models and ownership of SOX IT application controls.
